Aankhon me hazaro sapne, dil me liye the armaan
Aasman ko chuna hai..honge hum kal ki duniya
My collage days are over. All that is left now is only memories and sweet memories. During these four years 300 people have grown from a child into a man (I m not being gender biased here). Now everyone is set to take a different pathway, most of us are going for a job while a few have opted for higher studies but nobody knows what tomorrow will bring. Everyone will come face to face with different situations but those will be easier to handle because it is what NITK has taught us. We have handled extreme pressure of sessionals , practical viva voce and above all attending 75 % classes (which I think was the toughest task for me) and yet we have survived. This is what proves that we are fit for any situation now (survival of the fittest). It doesn’t matter in NITK if u are a computer engineer, electronics engineer or a mechanical engineer because everyone is same here (technically) ..i apologize if i offended some people here but what I wrote is for masses not for those tech buffs. But I don’t have any regrets for my collage because I enjoyed a lot here.
I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER the last days in the collage.
The best part of these days was the DRESS CODE. Seeing the whole class in one color was a awesome experience. Someday we looked like cool hunks wearing shirts over t shirts while other day we looked like some sort of saadhu’s with a teeka and a
Everyday there was a masterpiece of art waiting for us at the notice board. it is worth mentioning here that all these were designed by the galz reminding us of the days left . it was for the first time that I realize that galz too have brains..oh my god from where do they come up with these magnum opus ideas..HATS OFF TO YOU ..all these works were just awesome….
Then there were these mech prople..man if you want to learn the Art Of Living then these r the people you r looking for. it is with them that I discovered what enjoyment is. Going to the BOK ( I think it stands for
Worth mentioning is this BABA RAMDEV (PART-2) commonly known as NAATU. Sitting in front of senate hall during collage hours and taking yoga lessons from Baba Ramdev was stone cold crazy. he is at his best with words like, ”gupta saab concentrate, apne teesre paer ko U-turn deejiye, apne swass ko nassika se bahar nikaliye”.
Then came the last day in the collage. I will call it the ‘Slam Shirt’ day. Everybody was busy in scribbling on others shirts .So much was written on every shirt that no one might have used their pen this much to write in their notebooks in entire 4 years. Galz needed some extra space (coz of male dominant sex ratio) and their jeans were at their rescue.
I don’t know how long those shirts will last but the messages will remain forever because those have been written by very special people…
Yaade hai saath hardum
Nitk ke wo meethe pal
Shararat ke wo din
Masti or yaari ke din
Wo the suhane din apne..
